Guidelines
  • Disposable media must be central and integral to the film
  • Use of multiple devices is encouraged but by no means necessary
  • Submissions must be under 10 minutes
  • Submissions must be accompanied by a non-refundable submission fee of $.99
  • If selected, the filmmaker must provide an uncompressed version of the film either by mail or via ftp.
  • Filmmakers are responsible for their usage of restricted or copyrighted material. (DFF is not liable for any copyright material unlawfully used)

Selection Criteria

Selections will be equally judged on the inventive and experimental use of the media as well as the content of the film.

By submitting this film, you agree that you are not: (i) submitting material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant the Disposable Film Festival all of the license rights granted herein; (ii) publish falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage DFF or any third party. Submitters hold all creative control of materials submitted. Disposable Film Festival has the right to use submissions to promote the Festival, surrounding events and any other manner deemed appropriate by the Festival organizers.
